KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 13th September 2022 – Northtelecom Group and Thuraya Telecommunications Company have announced a strategic partnership that will enable them to enhance their satellite communication services in the global market. Thuraya is the Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) subsidiary of the UAE’s flagship satellite solutions provider, Al Yah Satellite Communications Company PJSC (Yahsat).
The agreement brings together two telecommunications giants with longstanding reputations of delivering top-notch satellite communication solutions and technology to diverse customers in the maritime, oil, and energy sectors and media broadcast, defense, relief, and enterprise industries. In addition, the partnership targets customers needing all-inclusive communication and connectivity services in remote locations.

The two parties signed the agreement during Oil and Gas Asia Conference 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
